Posts: 556 | Wow nice fish !!! Next time when I wonder if the bait I am using is to large I will just compare it to a 19" smallmouth to see. Very Cool---Hey with a fish like that I think they did a decent job handling it---but we only saw a small clip....

Posts: 82 | What a wonderful moment and great fish which certainly will cast an impression for the rest of their lives and those who are fortunate to view this, sweet!!!! We dedicate our lives and are passionate about things which bring us joy, whether it be God, family, fishing, what ever your flavor, its great to share these moments with others. Unfortunately, in our attempts to share this joy there are those who are quick to criticize and find fault in others success'. I hope those who are going to find faults in others moments examine themselves and put things in perspective, on a larger scale and realize being complimentary without criticism is ok... Posts: 24 | Super cool! Now that's nature at it's finest. I watched a giant trying to eat a 25" lake trout up on Rowan Lake quite a few years ago and remember thinking - what do I have in my tackle box that can compete with that! Congrats guys! Erik Jacobson

Posts: 422 | I say congrats to those guys, each one of us would have done the same. This happened to my dad and I in Canada a few years ago, we were trolling and I had musky gear and my dad was trolling for walleye's using walleye cranks. Dad's shad rap was banging bottom and all of a sudden his had a hit and after a few cranks his line really started to peel. He finally got the fish up and a smallie hit his shad rap and a musky then slammed the smallie just after the smallie his the crank. It was a big smallie and a big 48 - 50 size musky. Dad had it up twice just out of reach of the net and the third time as it was coming toward the net it opened it's mouth and let the smallie go. Very cool thing to witness.

Posts: 410 Location: Wakefield, MI | Awesome! Forwarded that one to my dad. About 6 years ago on Halloween we had a 47" fish die on us, beautiful fish so we got it mounted. Everything was normal, then this summer we were back at the taxidermist with a nice largemouth bass, and the guy says he has something for us that he's been saving. He goes back to his freezer and pulls out a 21" pike he took out of the stomach of the musky we had mounted 6 years ago, he's been saving it since then. The fish had that pike in it's stomach and hit on a 10" Suick.
