I have some 7'6"/8' and 8'6"/9' removable handle rods that I have discontinued. Only reason is that my telescopic rods sell about 5x better than these. NEW price to blow these out is $90 delivered to your door!
This is about 50% off full retail.

Right now I have these left in stock: **These will go to the shows in Feb. so buy them now or they will be gone. I have about 10-40 of each left in stock.

7'6"/8'
MH (up to 6oz lures)
XXH (up to 36oz lures)

8'6"/9'
MH (up to 6oz lures)
XH (up to 12oz lures)
XXH (up to 36oz lures)

Just email me and send me the rod length and power you would like
and I will send you a PayPal invoice you can pay OR you can ask me for
my payment address if you want to cut me a check. Hope you like the
saving!

James [email protected]

Just mention you saw this on the Muskies First forum.

XXH is better for pounders but the XH can throw them. It just loads up a little too much IMO

James doyou ship to Canada? Do these rods have real large diameter handles and are they considered heavy?

horsehunter-I can ship to Canada but I have to get the money as a "gift" through PayPal and you have to assume the risk with USPS ($30 shipping) OR I can ship FedEx and you do not have to take the risk but shipping is $60 for up to two rods. Unfortunately the USPS breaks about 1 out of 4 rods and will not stand behind their insurance.

As for the handles, I think mine have the largest diameter handles for production rods in the musky industry right now. As for "heavy" they are also very light weight rods but throw about anything you want if you get the XXH.

PS-rules??, happy to sell you full price stuff on my website. Didn't know you would be so offended by getting an offer to save money on discontinued tackle. Lighten up a little. Life is too short to get angry over nothing. After watching a few loved ones die over the last 18 months it really drove that fact home for me. Be nice to others, even if you don't know them. Life is short and you only get one chance..... Happy Thanksgiving.

great rods and great guy. Busted the stem on handle and james sent a new handle and even threw in a free double 10 dominatrix. Hope you have a few left come expo time. need to grab a couple more. Can't swing it until after holidays. Want an even thicker handle wrap tennis racket tape around handle.

Anyone considering any other rod than TI is wasting their time and eventually their money. TI rods are the best rod I've used hands down. Buy one of these rods and then take the money you saved and buy another one. You won't be sorry.

Well, had to do it. All information seen and read seemed like a no brainer.
From the start James had quick responses and answers. Very accomodating and understanding of my numerous emails. Was just nervous.
Should be getting my 8MH and 9XH real soon. Thanks James and if i'm happy, which I'm sure I'll
be, I'll send for another. Rock on.

Do you have any of the 8'6"/9' XXH still available with the 2-piece handle. I ahve 3 of them and like them so much, I'm relacing my St. Croix. The thicker handle is perfect for me.

Better get 'em while you can. Sweet rod for the price, although I've yet to test the XXH on 3-Pounder.

I put the new 9ft 2 piece rod to the test this fall. An incredible rod for those that want a 9ft rod but dont have the space. Biggest was 53.5. Any idea when these are coming out James?

The new 2-piece rod that breaks down to two 4.5' long pieces will be out in about 4 months. Very cool and of course you can you can keep the reel attached too! Can't wait for this one.
