Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | How'd the Muskies treat you this weekend? No fishing for the Worralls.... Did have an interesting fire in the 1690, the built in charger literally flamed sometime last week. I was lucky, should have lost the rig.

Posts: 34 | Fished Three Lakes Chain. Caught a 37.5" Friday night right at dark on a topwater. Saturday morning 1 undersize and my partner lost a 40" - 42" at the boat. It hit on figure 8 and immediatly went airborn. Couldn't find a fish Saturday evening. Sunday morning I lost one on a Bobby Bait and saw a couple small ones.

Posts: 1769 Location: Algonquin, ILL | Fished the Toilet Bowl ( Fox Chain ) with Greenhorn on Sunday for the FRV Fishing Leauge, we had a 40", 36" show themselves but that was it for day for us at about 11:30 someone opened the door to the looney bin and the go fasts, jet skis hit the lake with a vengance so we were off the water by noon. Got home and fished the pond behind my house and got 13 LM Bass up to 6lbs.

Posts: 1060 Location: Palm Coast, FL | How about a week report on LOTW? Was out with 2 friends all last week. We ended up with 43 muskies for the week with the largest being 52.5" (only one over 50). 15 of those were 40" or better. I will try and get some pictures up tomorrow.

Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI | Lined up a film shoot on Saturday morning with Jim Stewart, owner of Rollie and Helen's to try and take advantage of the new moon. Mark's outboard had caught fire on Friday night so all we had was the Minn Kota. Cold, wind, and rain were the rule as the air temp actually dropped between 4am and 11am. Amazing, we were one of only 2 muskie boats on a well known lake in Vilas county under classic muskie weather and new moon. We found the fish suspended off of deep weeds with baitfish changing depths almost constantly. Mark and Jim managed to put 5 fish in the boat from 39" to Mark's season best 50". All fish taken on pounders with another 7 fish lost in 15' to 20' of water. I should be able to get a clip edited and up in a few weeks. We have fish located and biting and we have to leave for a shoot on LOTW on Wednesday...bummer. Posts: 203 | Aint it great! Gives me confidence that it will happen for me soon. Sunday my boat partner spanked a pretty fat 42" out of 15ft. of water on a lake that only gets 19ft. You get the point -"Whos that boat mindlessly drifting down the center of the lake" bret

Posts: 313 Location: On your favorite spot | Congrats to my buddy Jon Mott with his first musky this weekend, pic is attached - he's been busting his butt since last September and we finally got one for him. Must have been the shirt..... Also met and fished with Brian Swenson who boated a PB 47" PIG and has one of the prettiest pics I've ever seen - maybe he'll post it. Minnesota fishing is picking up - just wanted to say congrats to these guys, wish I could fish out of the back of my own boat...... Attachments ---------------- 1.bmp (281KB - 104 downloads)

Posts: 7113 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Small craft advisory Saturday, no fishing. Sunday went two for four with a laker and a coho. Nasty waves early upset the tummy of the first mate and we got off early. Good eating from those fish though!

Posts: 1061 Location: Medford, WI | Fished Vilas for the weekend. Saturday morning/afternoon: 3 follows all under 40". Saturday night: Had one hit a mag dawg right by the boat, set the hooks, nothing...right around 40". Saw a nice mid-40's take a swipe but miss a bait. High 30" follow later on. Sunday was a great day....stories later...I'm at work right now...

Posts: 1906 Location: Oconto Falls, WI | We struggled a bit, and we also lit them up a bit. Lake choice can make or break you that's for sure! We ended up boating 7 fish, and missing another 6 fish. The best pattern was running deeper weedlines, but we did contact some fish in deeper water as well.

Posts: 12 Location: SAVAGE MN | I took my two older boys out Friday afternoon to fish a metro lake we put the boat in and went and parked the rig and by the time we got back to the boat it was full of water - what a dork, I forgot the plug. I jump in, hit the bilge, and scramble to get the plug in. So we are sitting on the dock catching bluegills hand-over-fist and the boys are loving it. Finally get out on the water and cast for 4 hours and don't even move a ski. So I decide to switch lakes. Second cast in the new lake and my five-year old hooks his first Muskie - 29" Tiger. Well after we get a pic and the fish totally soaks me as it swims off (which my kids thought was the funniest thing they ever saw) my six-year old wants to catch one too. It is getting late and I know we have to get off the water soon but told him we will try a few more spots. Not 10-mins later he hooks a nice 18" largemouth and is just one big smile the rest of the night. It is just too much fun watching my kids develop a love for fishing. However, I am afraid I am going to need a bigger boat because my two-year old was walking around talking to the neighbors on Saturday saying he didn't catch anything. It has been a great summer, get out with your kids and enjoy. I have great pics but not sure how to post them - they are 2megs each. Edited by davoO813 7/17/2007 10:10 AM

Posts: 170 | Got home Sunday from a week up at AML on Eagle. Had 20 fish in our group ranging from 38" to 51.5". Many fish in that healthy 43-45" range. As usual, nothing but a great time... Good to see several year classes of fish...just keeps getting better.
