Posts: 544 Location: Alsip, Il | Just want to say congradulations to my partner on getting his first Mn., fifty incher. I had the pleasure of netting, and measuring her. He got her this past Saturday and landed her even with a broken rod! Hopefully, he can figure out how to download pictures from his new digital camera. Way to go Matt and thanks Mike H. for info. God Bless, Al

Posts: 223 Location: minneapolis | I had the pleasure of meeting both Matt and Alan (and Henry the weagle beagle) this past week-end - great guys and good sticks ! I caught up with Matt on the lake just after he caught this fish. His smile tells it all! No one deserved to nail a pig more than these 2 guys. These were the only guys to stick it out for 14 hours on Friday fishing all day - most of it in a monsoon of a rain ! Everyone else pulled off the lake - but not these guys!!! Talk about studs! Way to go Matt !! Great net job Alan !!

| Thanks for the props, and thanks to Alan for buying that new Frabillzilla, and for helping me not to lose my cool when that rod snapped. I thought for sure that fish was gone when that happened. I'd be in the sanitarium right now after what happened earlier that day. | |||

Posts: 2378 | Cherry Poppers!! Here is my buddie's fist ski. It's no fifty, but its a muskie and his first. My number one goal this year was to finally get Kidd on a fish. Being this is likely one of the few times we will fish together this year I was happy when he mailed this guy. Welcome to the sickness Kidd.

Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | Baldy, that fish simply makes me laugh everytime I see that thing! HUGE head on that thing! Glad you put your buddy on one!! She just might have the makings for one of those super fish who's head just doesn't match their body.... kinda like Heiting!!!!

| Marine, thanks for your tips as well. The rush bite wasn't going too good for us. I did have one big one charge out of the rushes for a bait. I would have been foolish to not take advice from a great stick and friend like Mike. Especially since he just spent a whole month up there.(Lucky bum). #*^@, I should go get my teaching certificate. I do really like that whole area up there, and can't wait for a chance to spend some more time in MN. I didn't get the fish on one of his "spots" it was more of a general area.LOL | |||
