| Looking for a quality place to stay the last weekend in June that rents decent boats. Possibly interested in a guide as this will be a new body of water for me. Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated. |

Location: oswego, il | Plenty of resorts, keep calling. You can also rent boats and take to the resort of your choice. Go to the lake vermillion site it lists most of them. Glenwood lodge is another resort on the lake worth going to.

Try Whispering Winds resort--West End near the public boat landing and the eating place called the Landing
Under the radar for sure--
But Jeremy the resort owners son will spend time with you and put you on fish or die trying---Google it--contact info will come up....
Im almost positive he does not charge guests to fish with him who stay at the resort.... |

| Bayview Lodge has motel units and cabins for rent. They usually have something available. Food and drink are hard to beat! |

Location: Brainerd,MN | Give Muskego Point Resort a call. Might have something open. Great place. Best tackle supply on the lake. They have rental boats. You won't have to go far thou. Plenty of great muskie fishing near by. |

or just start musky fishing on lakes where you are actually more likely to catch Muskies..... |

That post brings back so many memories of me banging my head against the wall fishing Vermilion. Looking back we should have spent more time fishing open water. We did have some limited success fishing for suspended fish when the bite was tough. Find the baitfish and muskies should be close by. |
