Sorry for your loss. I've learned to cherish every minute with my dad. He created the monster I am today and it sounds like your dad did the same. Our prayers are with you.

whitetails,
Very sorry for your loss. Prayers go out to you. I hope you and your family are doing ok. I know what you are going through. I had 2 days with my mother when we found out 2 weeks ago. She passed away form cancer on March 15, 2011. Sorrow will blend in with good memories over the next week for you and ease the pain a little. Feel free to contact me for anything. I am dealing with the paperwork now and that was a little hard just from a technical standpoint. Happy to help you out if you have any questions.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost my dad to cancer as well on Nov. 18, 2007 and not a day goes by I don't think about him. You will remember the good times and all of the thing he taught you over the years.

I lost mine right before Christmas this year... the pain is real. I too pray for you and your family through this difficult time. In the end, doesn't matter what jerks on the board have to say, just where you stand with the Man upstairs.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. My father died October 18th, 1993. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about him. Enjoy your memories, and try to move on. Celebrate his life, not what he went through at the end. He will remain with you, even though you don't know how at a time like this.

God Bless you and your family.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my Dad 2 months after we were married, a sad time as we were just starting to get to know each other again after the terrible teen years. I wish you well as you are now the head of the family.

Sorry for your loss. Remember he good times that is what he would want. Still have my Father but at 83 I know time is limited--He can't get out and fish with me anymore but still loves to hear the stories of when me and my kids go. He is the one who started this passion in me so I Love to share our memories of times years ago when we could fish togehter. God Bless.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss.  If you're a man of faith, then you know your father is in a better place.  You obviously posted this because you feel as though you're among friends here.

I am sorry to hear of your fathers passing, I had a pretty good scare with my dad and cancer this year. it really puts things into perspective when things like that happen. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family in this time of grief.

I am very sorry for your loss. My Dad passed away a year and a half ago. I think about him all the time as he was my best friend and the only person who's advice and wisdom meant everything to me. Hang in there although it is not easy. My Dad told me to remember the good times and thats what I try to do. I miss him every day and I am sure you will too. Time will ease the pain. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Nick
