OK Shep, it's time to take down your daughter and get that picture of your son and that 49" "PIGGY" up there:)

Ralph,

I have no control over that. hehehe However, I do think it is time for a new cover. Lauren visits the site everday with me, and has even shown it to her teachers and classmates at school. They think she is a celbrity now! LOL

If the Riddler chooses a new cover girl, I'm all for it. If it is that pig that Eric got, great! If not, that's OK too. If he does put it up, I expect that the next MFer to catch a pig this spring will replace it. That fish will remain permanently ingrained in my mind's eye forever. Funny thing about that fish is I miss-measured it. I have a pic that shows the tail curved on the floor about an inch or so while I was measuring it with the stick. That's ok, cuz he razzes me enough already about having a bigger fish than I got! He'll just have to settle for a 49.5, as that is what we submitted to MI for the chapter contest. 3rd biggest fish in the Milwaukee chapter this year!

The cover picture of that beauty holding that monster keeps reminding me to take the kids fishing more often. Thanks for the inspiration.

Someone just needs to catch a fish worthy of knocking those 2 beauties off the main page....maybe I'll do it Saturday or Sunday?

If, indeed we are gearing up for Cave Run, that shot of Murph at the Cave last year would be a welcome reprise. m

Nice looking Ranger, and really like some of the options, that Ranger is obviously offering this year.I know there was no good looking blonde options available in the Skeeter boat literature,I was looking at.Cutting edge stuff by Ranger.

Shep- Both photo's are way cool. You have to be one proud Papa! Most everyone including myself would be salivating over a "50" incher- pretty low to let the curl of the tail subtract from the total. I know you don't want the boy to get a big head, but they're both out fishing you!!!!!Wahoo, bring on 2004!!!!!!!!!!!Al

Hey Zach,

Is there any way you can take Shep's UGLY mug out of the picture?

I worked something up this morning but didn't have time to really mess with it, I'm sure you can do a better job.

Check out the new pic!!!!!!!!!;)

Maniac,

I didn't see that pic until I had already submitted the MI contest form at 49.5" That pic was taken by Eric with his film camera. I will try to scan it in, and post it. Eric is ok with it at 49.5, and is really proud like I am. Like he said. "I still got the biggest fish in the family!"

Ralphie, I figured you superimposed your uglier mug over mine! yeck! Man, you got a big head!

I wish I would have been able to get Eric to hold the fish alone for a pic. He was worried about dropping it. He didn't want to hurt the fish, so he made me hold it with him. Good thing Lauren was along. She took some great shots.

I agree the pic of shep and his sone would work great on the front cover. Matt Collin's fish is nice but his pic will get tobbacco chew all over your front page.:-)

Fever,

Not a problem. The photo is in my album for all to see. Besides, I want my mug up there with a pig I catch! Eric will survive. He gets a nice award from our MI chapter the following week, so I will take pics of that, and we will be proud.

Not sure if I will make the Extreme show or not. River eyes are calling me. Besides, I was down at the Chicago Sportshow, and you weren't there. Your booth was assigned a slot, but no Ralphie to be seen! We will definately share a boat this year. Perhaps do a home and away series? Come up and do Pewaukee/Okauchee, and I'll come down by you. Sound OK?

I have no problem with the current pic of Murph on the Cave. Kinda makes me wish I could get a few days off of work and join all the MFer's down there! Spring is coming! I just know it is. It is, isn't it?

Ralph, Gregger is talking about Shelbyville next weekend. I asked him if he has room for me. He is ignoring me. Soooooo? Maybe. Meet up with Buckeyefan while we are down there! I could probably swing it.
