Posts: 32885 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The show was packed when Sue and I got there, and first person we see? ToddM, with NO BAITS YET!! Only because we met him before he hit the floor! Suick has some hot new colors, a new jointed bait, and new Cisco kids out. Roger Sabota, Steve Suick, Jeff and I talked about the new baits, deer hunting, and fishing, too! Musky Innovations has a new bait. the Twin Tail looks great, and for sure will catch fish. Slammer Drop Belly Gliders never looked better, nor have the Slammer crankbaits in the hot show only colors. SVL and Bill were working very hard to answer questions and fill orders. Posts: 32885 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Chuck, Norm, and Oneida Esox had the new Mepps Maribou running in a tank. Looking very good, too.
Laura had Creepensteins and Bride of Creepensteins for sale, along with the Pacemakers.
Darrel from Tuffy Boats held down that Esox Magnum fender; the only way that boat is staying unsold for the show! Tony was cruising the show when we got there, and between Crash and Justin Mullins and Tony, we got the dates set for the Cave outing this March. More on that on the Outings board. Posts: 32885 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Musky Buster has a new surface bait, and it is HUGE! I was surprised how light it is. I think this will be a hot creeper style bait this year. Musky magic has several new baits and colors this year, including the new Slidin' Shad Drop Belly. Posts: 32885 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Didn't get any pictures of the Nimmer baits, in fact, didn't see the booth. Might have been so jammed that i couldn't get in, that was pretty common.

Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | The Nimmer were in the same aisle as Guides Choice I think. Nice looking baits but his prices seemed kinda steep for the nice looking ones.

Posts: 20216 Location: oswego, il | Had a great time at the show. Seen so many people, got to meet more new faces, yet still did not mangage to see some people that I wanted to and talk to others a bit more. Too bad it has to end.

I went friday night to the show. I thougt it was a copy of last years show. (Good and bad) All booths were easy to find becuase all we in the same locations. My brother and I went it was a great time to talk because he usually is away at school. He is just starting to get into muskie fishing so I bought him a rod and a Triple D. You could find just about any lure except for large bass style buzz baits. I saw some with the clickers on them and also the boogerman brand but only those two and not many of them. Any one know where I could get a large bass style buzzbait that is not boogerman brand?

Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | Lightning, how large are you talking? 1/2 oz or bigger? I know of a real nice 1/2oz buzz bait that I like to use but some may think is small. here is a link to a place that sells them: http://www.ebait.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=h... Almost forgot, the website says they are 3/8oz. This is before they are dressed with the feather, skirt, and buzz blade. I weighed one and it is 1/2oz Edited by kevin 1/12/2004 10:33 AM

Posts: 1462 Location: Davenport, IA | It was a good show. I ended up with only 8 lures and a book. For me, thats very little. I just wish they would find a bigger location for the show.

Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | A bigger location a little bit more south like they used to be. Right off 294 would also be good. I put around 160-170 miles on the truck going there twice and I only live in Chicago.
