Just curious what everyone's favorite double 10 is? Any favorites for the money? I have been using mostly Spanky. I lost a few and looking to buy some new baits.

Gerry Girls for the money are hard to beat and he lets you customize them any way you want. I throw those, and Dadsons pretty much 95% of the time
Rabskas, Kramers, and Spankys are also nice

Moving forward I'm rolling 100% Kramer Bros. Revolutions except for 1 (supposedly lucky/go-to) Rabid Squirrel that a guy gave me in a trade as a bonus lure.

My favourites are the Dadsons I sold for 5 times what they cost.

Dadson and revolutions. I prefer the dadson 8's over the revolution 7's due to the amount of pull the 7's has.

Spankys- He will make you anything you want any way you want it.
Blades spin every time and baits are tough as hell.

Musky Mayhem for me. Been using them since they came out. No reason to change. Also throw sum Kramer's and Gerry Girls. Gerry is a great guy to work with, he'll build you whatever you want for a great deal.

Asking a general question like this you will get an answer for every popular bucktail. The question better asked is what is the best bucktail for these particular(your) situations.

This is true. When I want to fish faster or deeper I'll use Spankys as stated above, but when I'm fishing shallow or slow I go with musky mayhem DCGs as they have lighter blades and less weight.

I too like a Spanky''s bucktail. Good product for the price, but I have had by far the most success with a Dadson 9mm. It is #9 blades, not 10''s like the OP asked, but I think they are the best big buctail around, and not that much smaller. I've always heard Dadson put larger guage blades on. But if you insist on 10's, the Dadson bullet is pretty tough to beat, but man alive they are expensive!

Gerrys Girls. Customize them any way you can dream them, they are nice quality. And i also like Kramer Bros, just something a little different.

JMO but for D10s look for the ones with the color and "flash"&blade thickness you have seen to work. So many D10s to pick from. Also consider making your own. Lots of components out there and they are fun and easy to make. Just got to the Basement board here and ask a few Qs first. Big thing I found out early on was blade placement with respect for the tinsel. TI tries to keep the bottom of the blades about even with the top of the first set of tinsel. Kicks up your blades faster. Sometime if too low your blades will stay sucked into the skirt area and not open up. Also blade spinning. Thinner blades spin faster and thicker spin slower... Time and place for both but frequency is many times the key to a strike... JMO and have fun.

Nothing beats a homemade bucktail that you built with you own hands.
