What is everyone's favorite bucktail to burn that is not a twin ten? Mine would have to be a baby girl or a blue fox vibrax. I'm trying to get some ideas to expand my non twin ten selection.

Esox Assault Twin Drone (double 6's) get my vote. Only double 6 bait I've found that you don't have to jump start every time and burns awesome.

Location: vicenza,italy		I don't like two blade bucktail for italian pike,in Italian waters is used just.

I like vibrax 6" in more color and The mythical martin 20 (3/4) or martin 28 (1oz)
I edit them, change the treble hook (the original is too small) and dressing with feathers, fur (bucktail) and cristal flash.

Burning bucktails have been a technique used for decades. I recall an article written by Mark Windels,maker of the Harrasser bucktails that goes back to the early eighties. Mark believed the more water you covered,the better the chances are at catching fish. He believed,and so do I, that the best search lure was a bucktail fished fast. To accomplish this,he used and an Abu 7000 reel filled with line to the top of the spool for speed. His choice was his willow leaf Harrassers. I also like the Harrasers but my all time favorite burner is a Mepps Giant Killer. Kdawg

Location: St Paul, Minnesota		Cat's Tail Lures Colorado Tandem 8 in Orange and Yellow (Sunfish Color). This was the lure that we had the most mid-day high skies action with up on Vermillion in late August.
