| I was putting up our garage cieling today and my when my brother would measure and shout it out, like 49 1/2" all I could think about is that's a nice musky. 28", that's a small musky. 33 1/4", almost a legal one.... |

| I'm tempted to have one of my co-workers start an IV on me and give me some real good tranquilizers and sedatives!! I can't wait to even get out on soft water for some walleyes and crappies. Some years we can get out on the river here early March.....not soon enough!!!! |

| This is sad..... It has been 4 years since I saw "Shamu the Killer Whale" up on the Winnipeg River above Minaki, Ont.
Last night I dreamed about her again.... She still turned slowly away without striking!!!!

| I got it real bad lately. Planning all the trips I can has really got me thinking Just mentioned it to the Mrs. yesterday. Just booked a day, planned opening weekend, thinking about an April trip and can't wait til June...Steve.
Mark, call me. Got an offer to join our friend from the south in April. Will have to see if we can plan a couple days.

| Well, I replaced the hooks on some of my lures with tiny skis(not Mus-skis)and have been throwing them to the Hound. 183 follows 31 hits "not bad" He seems to favor the T-Bone for some reason............................RAZE |

| I got it BAD! this morning, the first thing that came out of my mouth was "honey, are you looking forward to the 2003 musky season or what?". she replies, "that's about the 20th time you've asked me and this month is only 30 days long"...
gosh, all these new lures, brother has been working on another boat...new lakes...musky dreams, painting some lures...making lures...
A few days ago i asked my son where he'd like to go to vacation this summer, he said "well dad, i might not like Canada"...like that the only place people vacation, i got him brainwashed already.[:bigsmile:]

| Just booked the 4th of July trip to Monument Bay Lodge. Got camping spot for July 16th trip to Winnepeg River ...
Now just really jonesing for the first PMTT event on Shelbyville...63 days away !!!
You know it's bad when the reason you are looking forward to Feb 14th is NOT to spend the day with your Valentine, but looking forward to the PMTT Trail Team # drawing !!![:bigsmile:]

| well I have to say that with the early ice this fall and swithching jobs right at that time has actually taken my mind off the ski's a bit. I haven't been as active on the boards and learnig the new position has had me humping pretty good....UNTIL last sat nite at our Muskies Banquet, i received my award for chapter lunker of the month for May, met 2 guys who live in my home town that fish the same lake as I do, curly talked my ear off about musky boats/motors, found out 2 50+" fish were caught on spots on LOTW that I know where they are but never fished em, some fat man has been e-mailing me all week about musky trips this summer, I just ordered my new Ranger boat today!!!!!!!!......YUP the winter blues are OVER, right back into the FEVER.
I look at the Muskiefirst board during work now hehe.
Musky Season 2003 ..BRING IT!!!!!!!

| Well, in every conversation I've had with my wife and probably most everyone else over the last month, it always ends up with me somehow relating it to muskies in one way or another. As much as she hates me going fishing every day of my three day weekends in the summer, she can't wait for it to get here. (for some reason she thinks I will be all better then) Little does she know it only gets worse, there is no cure! Always gotta have more and bigger. She really is GREAT to put up with it, now if I can just get her to start throwing plugs instead of sunbathing. I guess I've got the fever pretty bad. |
