Location: madison wisconsin | Wish I could vote for 2. Fish mad chain alot cause its close, but fished the turtle flowage last year for the first time and loved it. |

| No Eagle, no Vermilion, no LOTW..?
4 of 10 choices are Madison or within 40 minutes of.
People fish Madison because its close to them not because its a destination.. I doubt its ANYones favorite water..
Its crowded, dirty water tha is a treat to get away from in my opinion..
Cant wait for Memorial day when I can fish somewhere else.

Because of increasing hype/pressure in the last 10 years many love to hate on Vermilion but...---for me Vermilion hands down---

| Seems to me that the way this was structured was better to determine where to hold some kind of event on waters that are available rather than to establish some real "favorite" place to musky fish. If that is the case, then I go with Eagle River cuz I have places I really like to stay, to eat, and to drink...and there are always plenty of fish caught too. But, if you are talking my absolute favorite place to go if I could go any place to fish for musky...then I'd say, Are you pulling on my trailer hitch?" |
