Location: Hayward, WI | I like the looks of the bump and grind too. Nothing too innovative I guess but I might have a use for one.  It will be interesting to see what the Lamprey looks like. Maybe a big name manufacturer can come out with a good quality plastic that holds up well. Looks like it may be a Suzy Sucker style. Wonder if they will come out with a Curly Sue/Bulldawg type too.
Can't wait to see it!

I was wondering how much they were selling them for. Although they aren't cheap at those prices, they aren't much different than what the other doubles are selling for. I would have guessed they might be a little cheaper due to mass production, but their quality will determine if they are worth it or not.

| Is the head on the B+G similar to the slop master, or is it just the way I am looking at it?
In regards to pricing, it isn't out of line. A lot of places charge $30-$35 for a DCG. $25-$30 for Mojo XX/XXX, seems to me that a Double 12 in that $30-$35 range would be about right. I guess I'm willing to pay what a bait is worth, in terms of money, time, quality, and my enjoyment throwing it and the fish I catch on it.
I guess I don't see the difference in paying $35 for a bucktail, and $65-$100 for a swimbait. If it works, and it's a quality piece, I'lll buy it.
If, on the other hand, it's a piece of crap, and falls apart after a sinlge fish (IE: plastic baits that many have experienced; hell sometimes BEFORE a fish) then it is a different story.
I find it amazing how people are so ready to condemn something before they've even given it a shot... Welcome to America I guess... |

Swim Baits for $100.00 ????? thats for someone who has a lot more $$$ than brains.  |

If the lures sell well, they won't be in the bargain bin.
Quality Swim baits command a pretty high price. Don't want to buy one? Don't! Want to? Get after it then... |

the Exo: looks to be Red October tube-esque? (Pete was trolling one on TV...)
as Steve suggests, having them in hand will say alot.
since i've got original versions of those baits i'll be looking to see what makes these ones different before reaching for my wallet. if i'm impressed with quality and especially color options, i'll probably buy some since variety is good.

| after looking at the pics of the Exo, this is definitely on my "buy" list for the Milwaukee show this weekend.
i've been looking for a full-size crayfish bait for awhile, and this one looks good.
at 20"/12oz., half-dawg, half-monster tube...nice looking bait.

have you seen the Rustys on Vermilion? looks just about right...
jig style hooks on the top would have matched what i was looking for even better, the new Red October rigs are a better option for dragging across the bottom.
the Exo looks like it'll fill a little different niche, it'll be interesting to see how it runs in the tank demo, and how it compares to a dawg or Curly Sue. i like the bit of flashabou too.
