Below is a list of Outings that MuskieFIRST will be organizing/running in 2007. As details are firmed up on each of the below events, we will release these to the MuskieFIRST community. At this time we have no plans to organize any outings beyond this list.

As a note....MuskieFIRST Outings are always fun, layed back, and put together with an atmosphere of enjoying the fishing, the location, and time spent with friends. Come with a group or jump in a boat with a guy you only know as a screen name, but try to make it to as many as you can, rarely does anyone have anything but a great time.

Rhinelander Outing
-June 21st to 24th
-held at: Comfort Inn Hotel, Rhinelander WI

Presque Isle Outing
-October 24th - 28th
-held at Skyview Lodge in Presque Isle, WI.
-for more info on Skyview Lodge, go to http://www.skyviewlodge.com

We hope this erases any confusion about when and where the 2007 MuskieFIRST Outings will be held. We hope to see all of you at as many of the outings as you can possibly attend!

More specific details for each outing (rates, reservation info, planned activities, boat lists, etc.) will be announced as they become available.

Count Lori and I in for the spring and fall outing this year!
For the spring outing, we will probably camp at Lake George though. Bon Basset has been very good to me over the years.

I've made reservations at Rhinelander's dis-Comfort Inn using my Muskies Inc. discount. They told me if you all negotiate a better rate, I can get it later. $71.96 plus tax for Saturday night. See you all there! m

I think I will probably be in the area during the Rhinelander outing again this year. I'll probably at least stop by and say hi at some point.

Yes. We are going to fish, then eat, then drink a few toddies, then go to sleep for awhile and repeat. We'll give away some cool stuff, have a great time, and relax big time. Fish will be caught. Papa Joe needs to attend. the Fire Ring at the Hideout will feature venison and other goodies, and we'll burn a ton of bowling pin scrap.

Hopefully I can skip out of a class or three and convince Merckid to do the same so I can make the Presque Isle Outing!

Steve, Taylor and I are still planning on being in your basement.
We might even come up a day early and stay a day late.
Definitely at least one day heading up to Lake X and Lake XX
Taylor says we're panfishing too.....so I guess we are.

I'm going to the Presque Isle Outing in October. I will have my boats with, i.e., Skeeter (ESOX Maniac) and my 12ft light weight aluminum V.

I have a room booked at Skyview from Oct 22nd (Monday) to the 29th(Monday). I don't have a roommate yet. Anyone else going up early?

Only 159 days to go!

Have fun!
Al

Nick,
One of the great parts of last years' outing was that Adam Johnson (guide and owner of Skyview Lodge) and Howie Meyer (guide supreme) went from group to group within the outing, marking maps for all who came. That way the boats are all spread out and everyone can get onto hot patterns/spots more quickly.
