Weather Channel long range forcast has it at 50 degrees next Saturday, let''s see if that holds! Zach will be here trying to smack a buck with one of my 50s, so we will be in the woods...

Re-Named! "Iron Man" (or woman)"Break The Ice Outing"

I got a healthy 41" near Brainerd this weekend in 35 degrees heavy rain and 20 mph winds. Tonka should be easy!

Need one more fish....

I got a phone call from my Dad in Minnesota.... YOU might want to bring a snow shovel to the launch ramp. A little sand will help too.

I resemble that word! Nut! Especially when you put Muskie in front of it. I didn''t slave over the piganator trophy for nothing!

Got Sand.
Got Shovel.
Got Tow rope.
Got insurance.

Gotta Get Muskie.

I''ll be at Spring Park landing at 8.

I will be there but I would like to know how many we will be and remember this,,,,weve all read the articles and been to seminars where the respected writer, speaker has stated many times that the last week or days of the season the fish sometimes go nuts and the fishing is phenominal and it looks like this is the end,,,so yes you may get a little cold and maybe a little wet,,but ,but you will have the peace of mind all winter long of knowing you gave it one last try and didnt miss out on that BIG bite if it happened,,,With that stirring Vince Lombardi like rallying speech Im guessing were gonna have a big turnout,,,, RIGHT!

I wish I could, but will be out of town for the weekend. How about getting Mr. Cady to camp out at the launch and keep it open until next weekend? It's not like he works or anything.

Good luck

Thickone,

I'm going to Thorne Bro's today to get that Crappie Squirko so not only can I win the Piganator, but to win it on your favorite bait[:p] It's supposed to snow 1-3" tonight so everyone bring a snow shovel, or better yet a snow blower[] See you all in the morning.

Here muskie, muskie, muskie....

Guys
I called both wayzata and shoreline bait shops and inquired about the landings,,they said very very few people have been out and shoeline bait which is dead across from spring park landing said he has not seen a boat launched all week,,he said he looked at the landing and he dosent see any problem so long has you have 4wd so anybody without 4wd just show up and we can hook your trailer up to my rig I have 4wd,,,the great thing is "nobodys been hardly out" fish have been unpreasured,,,It would be nice if everybody stoped at the hardware store tonite and picked up a couple bags of sand for tommorow

I just came from the launch and it's in great shape. The plow has been through and there isn't any ice. I did see 2 boat trailers and one other car in the lot. It's days like tomarrow where you almost expect to catch some just because of the effort your putting out.

Thickster, I'm sharpening the hooks on my new (soon to be Piganator champ) squirko.[]
