Anyone been out on Indy lately? I'm heading there tomorrow for the first fine inn a couple years so any advice helps a ton. Thanks in advance.

Was out there for my first time last weekend. Raised one fish on Saturday shallow. Lake was pretty green.

I am sure it is very green around this time of year but they still go after baits. I think last year the north or west end of the lake was really bad and the rest of the lake was manageable.

I think so not that it matters no power boats this time of year.

Still no wake, been out a few times past two weeks. Have not seen anything, don't know where these fish go this time of year on this lake...have pretty good luck on this lake until it gets cold

Lost a 40" last night boat side, not a worse feeling in the world. I should have opened my bail and let him run...oh well now my muskie bug is back in full force

They stay shallow. They're in the weeds, just keep digging

Went last night, only action was 1 that swiped at a topwater. It was a swing and a miss, looked like a reactionary strike to coming into his territory.

With the no wake in effect, can I still troll around 3.5mph? To me thats no wake, but I dunno how Johnny Law feels about it.

Wouldn't worry about it. No one is abiding by the no wake rule

When I was there earlier this fall the only people abiding by the law were anglers. The lake shore owners were all in a hurry to get their rigs off of the water for the year. With all of the Muskie angler vs lake shore owner hubbub this past year the irony was not lost.

53 on Wednesday, not sure if it has turned over or not. Don't think it has

Thanks Joe and mnmusky, the water clarity was horrible out there because it was dead calm. The green slime is in effect big time
