I've received one single contribution. What a dismal response. I'm guessing that either 1) no one wants anything to do with me and/or 2) no one wants to help provide some support to our troops overseas.

I'm thinking that it's mostly me, a personal thing. Which I can understand.

But, regardless of why you chose to not participate, I'm asking that you please reconsider and send me some books or mags that I can then forward to the troops in Afgan.

This is a big deal to those folks over there and to those here at home who love them. I hate the war but I'm very concerned with the welfare of our troops. I want them home, but that's not gonna happen soon so I want to offer some help while they are there.

AND I NEED YOUR HELP.

I sent you all the Musky Hunter mags I had Ranger. Wish I could do more, but that's all I had for the time being. If I come accross any more I'll keep you in mind. God bless our troops.

And you be the only response, bigbite. Thank you ever so much. Now, the rest of you deadbeats, let's see some action!

If I had some books and/or magazines they would have been at your door already. Unfortunately I have 2 magazines and 3 books....all of which I need for interview prep and continued education. Sorry.

Hey Mike, You may want to consider owning more than just three books if "continuing education" is really something you're into. Just sayin'

I sent a box but I felt kinda bad. Some of the magazines were a few years old. But, I guess they may be current for the troops.

I can throw a box of paperbacks together but I read alot of war (W.E.B. Griffin) and I don't know if that would be appropriate.

What do you think of war books?

I sent alot of magazines from abot 10 years ago but I figured that we have troops that are only 18 years old so they might not have read them since they were only 8 when they came out.
