hey guys tough id show you my longlasting new project that i call simply the smelt since it was the target baitfish i was trying to imitate. i dare not even think of the countless hours i've spend with this model but i think it ended up looking pretty cool. every single detail i made by hand no electrical tools were used whilst making this thing.

That’s definitely the most badass lure you have done. Awesome work!

I see the finished one is wire through, you molded the individual parts for this bait? Great work.

yep this thing is made of resin though it might be a smart thing to do since im sure i'll get people asking me to make them in the future and also wooden swimbaits kinda dont hold up well when you use a door hinge water will some point surely seep in and ruin the bait

wish there was not a meter of ice in the lake so i could show it properly, i did test it out in a bathtub and she waggles very nicely.

Very cool bait. I have been trying to use some of the big bass swimbaits for pike/muskie for a year or so. I question their durability since they were designed for bass. Awesome to see a swimbait of this detail designed for muskie.

Very impressive work. You certainly have those figured out, would like to see the footage as well once you get to throw it.

i'm most likely gonna do a realistic looking roach glider jerkbait with carved scales, been doodling it on paper already and it looks pretty cool its probably gonna be those +40h projects lol

of course i am :D i dont mind having some toothmarks on nice looking baits, and i can always always make more of them if they get too damaged
