Posts: 551 Location: Columbus, Georgia | Ditto what shaley said: Merrell sneakers with a Vibram sole, gortex uppers, and waterproof. Around $140 a pair. Good for two or three seasons of hardcore conditions.

Posts: 697 Location: Minnetonka | I went away from Merrells this year to the North Face GTX... the soles are fantastic and the waterproofing has held up thus far. In the summer I usually go with the Rainbow Premier flip flop. Attachments ---------------- GTX.jpg (75KB - 168 downloads) rainbow.jpg (54KB - 166 downloads)
