Posts: 202 Location: Angola, IN | Wow....My brother and I caught so many big fish with Marc. Yeah, it's not the same as catching the fish on a figure 8, but how many people really have the chance of picking up a fish in the mid-50" range. Very few from Wisconsin and MN. Fishing with Marc is one of the best experiences you can have musky fishing. You learn a ton, you pick up some HUGE fish, you hang out with one of the coolest guides there is. edited SW 8/3

| It's amazing that my notoriety and infamy has made its way over to this board. Thanks to all my fans for spreading the word. I love you all........It's really too bad I don't know who half of you are because you like to hide behind screen names. That's okay, you're still my friends. Marc Thorpe is one hell of a fisherman, and knows his stuff when it comes to muskie. I have, and always will give full credit to him for putting me on that fish. "We" caught a 56" monster (a fish that many of you will only dream of), and it is the experience of catching that fish that really matters. I was content just learning from Marc. Catching fish was a bonus. Thanks again to Marc for a great trip, and for putting me on the fish of a lifetime (as he has done with many individuals before me). I can't wait to fish with him again. Oh, and thanks to MuskyJ for posting my report. I love you Man. Tugs and Fishes! HW | |||

Location: Athens, Ohio | Congrats on a fish of a lifetime. I'd like to hear details about the fight (I know better than to ask about the spot!). Well put, Stevie, glad to see you on the board again. Hope all is better with you, keep in touch! Again, fine fish, we're all bitterly jealous, of course! m

Location: The Yahara Chain | Congratulations on a great fish!! If you are fishing a huge body of water for the first time I think you would be foolish to not hire a guide. I know guides that hire guides.

Posts: 2 | Marc, I only lost 2 fish! As I recall, "someone" forgot to adjust the drag on one of the reels, and coincidentally the line snapped when I set the hook. That was definitely the fish that even our buddy cannot lie about! HW
