Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | My season in WI starts at the end of May but for the last several seasons my opening weekend catches have come on Hardheads (the 8 oz size), Triple D's, Depthraiders, Mag Dawgs... pretty normal size baits. I didn't catch anything opening weekend last year but my Dad boated a 40 on an 8" Slammer. I like them too - a little on the smaller side if you like that early on and they look nice in the water. Posts: 697 Location: Minnetonka | Nice! It appears that Jeff actually knows the muskie's favorite spring lure, rather than his own. Thanks for the conclusive data! My favorite is the Chaos Tackle Medussa and/or a handful of Musky Innovations products, however I have no idea what muskies like in the spring. | ||
