Posts: 278 Location: Finland | hey guys i though i'd share some pics of the latest baits i have done. i really love the action that im able to achieve with these resin based bodies that i've been making lately, saves me a heck of a lot of time than compared to carving them from wood. Posts: 31 | Well as usual your lures are awesome. What is the trick for controling where the glitter goes. do you mask it off? The glitter is cool

Posts: 278 Location: Finland | Tackle Mechanic - 5/19/2012 9:22 AM Well as usual your lures are awesome. What is the trick for controling where the glitter goes. do you mask it off? The glitter is cool first i just cover the whole lure with lure varnish ( i believe you guys don't have that in the us) than i just sort of throw the glitter to the surface of the bait, it gets stuck to it and i can collect the rest that don't hit the bait or fall off, i usually have to do it 2 times to get a good evenly coverage of glitters. then its just the matter of clearcoating the lure enough that it does not have any jagged edges and the bait is ready for paint

just wondering if you can see any similarities between smooth cast 300 and the stuff they use to build perchbaits.i'm not sure but i think legend lure is using a kind of urethane to make his cranks
