Posts: 32884 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | How did the Muskies treat you this weekend? This is what Zach and I were doing all weekend in conjunction with Sour Squirrel Studios... http://mathewslive.com http://mathewslive.com/media-gallery/ It was REALLY hot down here. Good time, though, the people shooting this event (500 archers) are some of the nicest folks I have ever met. Men's Open Pro won over $11,000.00. These people can shoot...

It may not measure all that big, but I'd give you some extra points based on the looks. (Not yours, the fish. ) That's a really pretty fish.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Wow, lots of tigers caught this weekend. Pretty fish guys. I went out Friday evening for about 2 1/2 hours. Lost a 40 ish and caught a 37. Both on weedlines on a Mag Pro Dawg. My Dad came up Saturday and we got in about 7 hours of fishing. Nothing going all day till about 9:00 PM. Dad had one take a swipe at, and miss a double 10. Then just at dark he had one hit a Ghosttail spinnerbait just before he started the 8. After being on a couple seconds it took a flying leap and shook the bait. Nothing all day for me... We made it out for just a couple hours mid/late morning Sunday too without a sniff. Friday evening was good but I struggled the rest of the weekend. Posts: 463 Location: Sw Pennsylvania | Took a beating from the heat saturday for 8 hours with no action at all. Fish from 12:30 til 6 on sunday with a buddy and we managed a 35" trolling a jtd perchbait. Dodged some intense rainstorms off and on throughout the afternoon.. Posts: 7 | Spent a couple of afternoons fishing with Mike Hulbert. We got on some fish big time. We had two, 3 fish afternoons! We had 3 big fish with 3 other quality fish. Always putting big fish in the boat when fishing with Hulbert! Here are a few that I caught with him! Edited by Marc Reynolds 6/29/2010 11:33 AM

Posts: 1286 Location: WI | ski patrol that 2nd pic is awesome! I blanked out again. Had a couple strikes, but who knows what they were. My friends are moving and catching fish so I gotta figure something out. It'd be nice if my reels came back from being repaired so I could throw some bigger baits.

Posts: 53 Location: Tomahawk, WI | Thursday night a 30"- Hit my topwater but didn't stay hooked. I threw back a rattlin-rap and boated her. Friday morning a 33"- I saw it surface a couple times but it didn't want a spinnerbait or a rattlin-rap, so I threw a creeper back and caught my first topwater musky. I'm pretty sure it's a tiger as well, I'll have to post pics to let you guys see. Didn't fish saturday. Sunday morning brought the frustration with really short strikes.- Right away I had a 30" come and nip at the tail of a bucktail on a figure eight and disappear. I through back to it but nothing. Another spot I had one nip at a topwater, I kept reeling and she hit again but couldn't keep her hooked. 20 yrds down the weed line another missed strike. I threw back with the same topwater and she followed to about 8' away from the boat and turned off. She was 40+, had my knees shaking. A little further down the line I finally had success on the topwater, unfortunately just a 20 something inch northern. I tried the same weedline again with no success. Nothing the rest of the morning. Monday I caught my biggest musky so far, a 41". I fished around the same island that I saw all of the fish on Sunday. It was a cold front day and I knew I'd be lucky to see a fish. Rounding the island to the wind blown point I pulled her out of the weeds with a white spinnerbait.
