Where are you headed to find a cold weather muskie this weekend, or are you headed SOUTH? What are the Muskie plans this weekend? I sold my 7mm Mag, and need to sight in a .270 WSM, so there goes part of the day at the range, but there just might be a muskie on Pelican needs catching.

I am heading back from school in St. Cloud and going to fish and hunt the entire weekend. I plan on fishing some of the local lakes like either the Dairyland or the Holcombe flowage. Hopefully I can stick a buck on Saturday and then maybe head out on the lake sometime in the weekend. I have a few suckers ordered for the weekend. Last weekend I was home and caught two small fish on magnum bulldawgs (33 and 37) most of the fish that have been taken in the Chetek area have all been on suckers. I also hit a decent buck last Saturday, must have hit him higher than I thought. Tracked him for almost four hours and never could find him. It made me sick, it sucks when you can't find a deer that you hit. Hopefully this weekend I will have a better weekend. Good luck to everyone who is either in the woods or on the water. I will let you know how it goes early next week.

Hey Rob, let us know how you do there. I've heard from several that it's very slow there this year.

Okauchee has to go one of these weekends...Pewaukee has the Iron Man so I'll stay off of there. I've been trying to get a good friend of mine a fish before the end of the season. I got him hooked last year when I had a nice follow, he got to see a 40"r boat side and then went out and spent $1,000.00 on gear. I guess good things happen to the one's who wait, in his case he's been waiting all year.

Big weedy pond on Saturday. I don't like the outlook for next weeks weather. Better go now because it may be ending sooner than we think.

IMTT with Tuffdaddy!!! I'm trying to enjoy all the anticipation because once it's over I've gotta wait till next year! #*^@ it's going to be a looonggg winter. Hopefully Joel and I can end the season with a BANG...........

Oh yeah.....Sunday I'm headed to the Bears Game to watch the defense kick the crap outta the 49er's. The group that I work with has been kickin some butt around here and our CEO was kind enough to let us use the executive suite. The funny part about it was I almost turned down the offer because I wanted to be on the water!!! LMAO
