60 yesterday. This coming cold should send it into turnover temps.

Kirby that fish you saw in July doesn’t count as “the other day”

Dropped below 60 in some areas. Rocks are a ghost town! Struggling but caught a big girl yesterday

Kinda tough bite last week and the weekend. Not really sure what to expect. Bass fishing was garbage so I strictly musky fished after I figured that out. First time up there. I'll be back. Weather was nasty almost every day.

59-60 temps as of 9/30 when I left. 3 fish in 5 full days and 2 short partial travel days: 48, 42, 40. Had maybe 15 follows. Missed a 52" at boatside when the jerkbait got completely inhaled but somehow all 9 fingernail-sharp hooks missed meat on the hookset. No action after dark on Fat Bastards or Cannonball Jrs. Best lure by far was the 9" perch colored weighted Suick fished slow with longer pauses. Not easy or fun to fish or cast in 3' rollers.

That's actually pretty good for vermilion these days! Kind of jealous actually...

Temps as of Sunday evening were 47-50 degrees. Guessing it will drop fast this week.

Hit west end all day Saturday only had one small (upper 30's low 40's) fish up. Beautiful day to be on the water though 49-51 water temps
