I'll try posting on the proper board. Very little knowlage of the Hayward area lakes, probally less about Muskies. All Muskies to date have been accidental catches. I'll stay with my "eyes", but my son is interested in Muskies. I'm taking him out on Thursday of this week. Any info on where and what might put him on a fish or two?

Always have luck on Lost Land or Teal lakes. Boated 2 fish and lost one in one day. 48"-38" fish third fish lost was at least 45". If you try either lake right now jerkbaits are your best bet. Work them slow around dying weedbeds or sharp drop offs. If these baits are not what you typically throw the next best thing would be large floating rapalas or large shallow running stickbaits. Bucktails this time of year on these two lakes never really produced fish. Good luck if you try either lake, and boat the fish of a life time.[;)]
