Hello Everyone,
I am looking at picking up a new reel and I have it narrowed down between these two choices. I already have a Calcutta 400B on my LT Top n' Tail. I already own a Calcutta 400TE that I have on my LT Sling Blade. This new reel will be put on my LT Big Nasty with a 20" full-cork rear handle for big baits, with double-tens being the main focus. I am either going to buy a 400D brand new or search for another 400TE that is new in box. Which reel is preferred between these two models? Which reel is better with double tens? I have never used a 400D.

Thank you and good luck on the water.

See the previous thread on this subject - D vs TE. Some worthwhile opinions there, but when all said and done just opinions. In my mind the TE is the better choice for dbl 10's
