I read your Lake Size vs Muskie size post, and you mentioned French Lake. Is this French Lake, 8mi from Faribault? I was wondering if you fished this lake? If so, where do you concentrate your fishing (or places you've pulled skis), what do you use, colors, times, etc. Thanks

P.S. Any other good muskie lakes fairly close to French?

I have not fished French since 1992. But before that I lived on French. A great Walleye and Muskie Fishery. Most of the muskies I caught there were on Topwaters and small bucktails. I never got any of the pigs they now get, but that was back before the size limit was change. For a small body of water, she is a goodin.[]
