I have a Iwata Neo now that I have messed up the needle and nozzle. Rather than spend the money on new parts I was thinking of looking into a new brush.

I am looking at the Badger 350. They are nicely priced at $40-50 new which is about I want to spend at the moment with so many other lure making projects and house projects going on.

I spray Createx, should I get the Medium nozzle or the Heavy nozzle?
-Medium (M) - 1/4" (6mm) to 2 1/2" (63mm) spray pattern
-Heavy (H) - 1/2" (12mm) to 3" (76mm) spray pattern

I am not looking at doing super intricate work so I was leaning towards the heavy since I get super annoyed when my nozzle clogs (which is why I think my neo died so quick). Also with siphon feed brushes, do you designate a jar for each one of your colors or can you wash them out for color changes?

Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Trevor

I have always used just Badgers and love them. If you are using water based I would go with the heavy or large needle.
Mine are all medium heads but I use lacquer based paints. I had a bottle for every color used. I painted a lot of lures at a time so changing them out would be time consuming and expensive with waste. If you are only doing a lure or two , once in a while, than probably be better to only use one or two bottles and wash them out for color change.
