If you already have a lowrance unit and get a humminbird unit on the same boat will there be interference between the two units.

There are more than one factor (brand) that determines if you will have interference. Depth, distance between the transducers, ping speed, transducer frequency, etc. Does your Lowrance unit have a dual frequency transducer? You may have to switch the frequency to minimize interference. If not, does the Bird? If they operate at the same frequency, you can try to adjust the ping speed to 1/2 or 1/3 of the value on the other unit. Hopefully I have answered your question.
