I keep my boat stored outside and I am wondering what I need to do to winterize it. I have a 115 evinrude and a 9.9 mercury. any help would be great thanks.

Here is what i do with any 2 stroke motor

1. change lower unit fluid (a must) water may have gotten in there
2. Seafoam or startron in the gas before putting it away.. you must use some stablizer in the gas and you want it to be in the gas that's in the motor
3. Clean the motor, wax etc...
4. i don't fog, never had an issue
5. make sure you charge the batteries (all of them fully)
6. make sure you store with the motor down or at least cover the lower unit if you can't. You don't want water/snow to collect in the prop area. It will freeze and thaw and can damage it.
