New trolling motor forces me to mount a socket for a tall bow light. How do I/what do I use to drill a 1 3/8" diameter hole through the 1/8" aluminum that is my bow cap?

Drill a pilot hole in the center of hole location, then use an 1 3/8" hole saw. Running the hole saw in reverse if it is sharp so as to not catch and tear. Slow and steady. Very light pressure.
