I ran Amsoil in my Johnson 115 and it worked great. I now have a Merc EFI 175 with a three quater full oil tank which I believe is 3 gallons, with Merc oil in it. Can I mix the two oils or do I have to wait until my oil tank is almost empty and then add the Amsoil.

Most people will tell you that when you're switching from a dino oil to a synthetic, to run the oil down as far as you can before switching over.

If you know somebody that runs dino oil in their boat, you could suck out your "old" oil and sell it to them at a reduced price.....if you are anxious to make the switch and don't want to wait.
