A buddy was telling me about some 5' shorty fiberglass rods that are typically used by walleye fisherman. He says that they would work great for trolling down rods straight behind the boat. I am very unfamiliar with trolling in general, but was wondering if anyone had tried this technique before. The thread on prop wash trolling really got me thinking of these. I believe that they are only available in medium action, so not sure if they would hold up. Trying to get a good spread without using planer boards and thought this would be a great idea. Any help??????

Thanks
shaley

They work great for walleyes, been meaning to pick up 2 for leadcoring, never thought about using them for muskies, then again I'm not a big troller.
