Going to try it again August 10th thru 17th. What different techniques would suggest from mid July, for example night fishing etc.? Any suggestions will be tried especially since my last trip was so poor. Thanks, Al[:0]

MA,

We usually hit LOTW for an extended Labor Day weekend every year and usually find the 'skis up shallow on the rock bars or tight against rock walls. I know it's hard on the tackle but you really can't cast close enough to the rocks on that lake. You'd be surprised at how shallow they'll lay. This year it sounds like everything is a little bit behind for weeds. Weather also tends to be a huge factor in turning fish on up there so there's no way to tell exactly what you should do until you get up there and hammer away.
