I have a minnekota powerdrive that is about 4 years old. This last weekend it was turning off on it's own when having to work overtime against the waves. It was not kicking the breaker switch as it has done in the past when it is running hot. It was just turning off on it's own. TIt was running fine at other times. Any diagnosis or fixes. Thanks BG

I've had similar problems with the powerdrive. My problem was the foot pedal was worn on the control pad. That would be the first thing i would check for is corrosion on top of the board.
