Just got a couple and was trying them for the first time. VERY buoyant! Guy I was fishing with thought it was a topwater.. I'm wondering what are your guys' techniques on this lure. How do you work it effectively?

I guy gave me one said he hated that lure, I start with some fast cranks to get the sledge down and then work it like a suick with pulls, or u can snap it like a burt. Granted I am no expert I'm sure some else has some thing to add. I am doing this with 7000, not a real fast reel.
