Subject: trolling motor question

I've got a question... I've got a transom mounted minn kota maxxum 55 trolling motor. I'd like to move it to the bow of my boat and use the brackets that I've purchased. Is there a way to convert the motor so that it will work properly? Is it as simple as spinning the head of the motor around?

Thanks,
Shawn

You certainly can spin the head of the electric around so the motor pulls forward from the bow. The backtrollers in Minnesota have been doing that on the transom for years! Should be one screw to accomplish the switch.
