So not to post a stupid question, but my 2005 ranger still has the origional cranking battery. No problems, starts up and equipment runs fine. So how long does one last? Only thing I noticed was that the graph would flash voltage low when starting the 225 opti every once in a while, but nothing shut down.

If you suggest a new battery which one?
Thanks
Chris

It really doesn't matter what kind you buy if you you have a reliable charger. I keep all my batteries charged with a Xantrex Truecharge 40 after every trip on the water.
