New at lure making, made my first gliders and turned out great. My first crank made from red oak I didnt weight totally centered and it runs to the right then rolls on surface. Checked my saws for good square everything except the weight seems right. Any good rules of thumb would be greatly appreciated

Bend the nose screw/wire a little (I mean very little!) to the left and test the action again.
The nose screw/wire don't have to be much in wrong direction and that makes the lure turning too much right or left.
