| bucktail baits in small batches - made by hand - don farrell "masterbaits" makes the best muskie blades made. truly revolutionary. the biggest innovation in blades in the last 100 years. these blades are rectangular not tear drop or round. they start easy and die hard. you can't kill these blades unless you pull them completely out of the water. they will chop the surface throwing water 2ft or more plus bulging the surface in front of the bait like an icecream bucket being pulled just below the surface. you won't believe the water moving power of these baits until you try them.
the blades are stainless steel, but there is also a clear plastic version that pulls very easy and with slower turn than stainless but really sweet action on the skirts. the reflections off plastic blades often look like a school of minnows being chased by the bait. very effective, subtle bucktail. works well at night too.
a triangular version is really a fast moving blade that moves alot more water than a willow blade and pulls easier than a regular blade.
