Subject: spinner bait blades

i am gonna buy a bunch of spinner baits for musky and pike and a few for bass but i need to know does it matter where the blade is above the spinner head or is there anything else i should know before buying spinnerbaits. also, how do you choose which size of trailer hook to use? is there any tricks you can do to spinnerbaits to make them more effective? i read an article on something like this in muskyhunter a while ago, but is there anything that that article didnt cover? thanks alot for all the help!

I use spinnerbaits quite a bit, love 'em. Keith builds his Violent Strikes with longer than avaeage arms, I like the way they 'thump' with a Colorado, Indiana or Willow blade. He uses one size larger stinger hook than his main, I think.
