Just looking for some info. on Kentucky lakes here. Mainly, which ones hold Muskies. I'm going to be down there on Kentucky Lake later on this fall to carry out a small request from my deceased father-in-law and would like to be able to take his brother out for some musky fishing.
I've only been down there one time, as a child, and have no clue abouts the area I'm going to. His family lives in the Madisonville/Wolfs Hollow area.
Any help on local musky lakes would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Really there isnt any muskie lakes close to the Kentucky lake area. The only muskie lakes in kentucky are green river, cave run and buckhorn with dale hollow having a little bit in it. i looked on the map and the closest ones from you would be green river at 150 miles away and Lake Kincaid in Illinois 150 miles away. i believe that that area is kind of a dead area as far as muskie fishin goes. But kentucky lake does hold some big bass in it.
