Another Dumb Question!


How often do you replace the line on your reels? also,someone tld me that to save $,use mono as a filler then finish off with choice. Isay you get what you pay for.[:sun:]

I don't think its nessarily a filler it just that braided lines slip on the spool so you need something that will grab the spool so you don't slip when applying pressure. I would put about 10 yards of mono on the spool but I don't know if you would want to fill it up with that because you always need extra line to fight a fish. Then as I usally do I put on the braided line over the mono. This prevents slipage. Make sure the line gets put on the spool nice and snug.
