It's 10 weeks to the opener and -12 degrees in Michigan's UP. Safe ice but walleye and pike season just closed so it doesn't matter. You MN guys can relate, I bet. Time to do those basement walls, eh? This is the hard stretch of winter in these parts. Fortune smiles on you northern folks who are heading south to KY.[:)]

I know how you feel, I have a friend who just moved back from Houghton. I, on the other hand, welcome the cold, as it extends my winter piking for a while longer, and they are really starting to prowl!(Some WI rivers are still open).
