Where I live I have limited pure bred fishing, the fish commission stocks 2 to 1 avg tigers to pure breds. I never have any luck with tigers during the heat of summer. Do they go deep? or are they not very active during july/august?

Since the pros didn't respond after three weeks, I figured I would.

Yep, they go deep. Look for them on the bottome in 15-20 ft. of water or suspended at similar depths over very deep water. Look for bait schools or dimples from bream on top and fish below them. They willl be feeding below them. Tigers act more like Northerns this time of year. They will hit larger trolled baits in the summer. There are some tips on my Tiger forum if you want to check it out.
