I'm taking my first ever Canadian Fall Trip in a few weeks to the Minaki area, anyone have any tactics they prefer for mid to late Sept?? I was thinking besides the obvious Jakes/Grandmas throwing some heavier spinnerbaits to still try and get a bite going on Hair?

The large eagle tail in silver grey is the best bait up there for any time of year.

Shumway flashers in green firetiger also work well.

Ghosttail coper silver blades are hands hand down a great color also. any hair in grey white and some black.

Suicks also are hot, I have found firetiger to work best for me.

hughes river shakers in 6" & 8" in lake whitefish and firetiger.
