I already decided to get the C4 by Abu Garcia, but I saw they make a C4 in the winch series. What does the winch series have that the regular C4s don't? And would it be smarter to get the winch or the regular C4 and why?

The winch is a 3.8:1 ratio I believe. For hard jerkbaits I would probably stick with the C4 non-winch, for soft plastic jerks I like the C4 winch. I own both reels and like them very much. My C4 non-winch doubles as a bucktail reel and the winch doubles as a big crankbait reel. I get a couple of applications out of each one. I am not an expert by any means, that is just my preferance.
