Can I modify a Do-it mold or is that beyond the capabilities of a dremel? I want to modify the mold to accept a wire but I don't want to spend the money if I'm just going to ruin the mold. Thanks

If you are careful and skilled, it can be done. just don't rush it. Also, if you don't have one, get a production pot. It will make your life much easier.
