Any one have any experience with these motors. I understand they were the same between 1984 to 1987. Are they good motors? How are they on Gas?

Stay away, the old inline 6's are very hard to keep in good tune. They need constant adjusting to keep good idle. They also are known for a leaking a crankcase seal and is very expensive to get repaired.
